Nanette Gibson Watts, age 90, of Greenville, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at Crowne Health Care. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Justice Mark Kennedy officiating, and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service.
Mrs. Watts was born and reared in the Searcy Community of Butler County in 1929. She attended Butler County Schools and graduated in 1947. She worked most of her adult life at First National Bank and Greenville Bank before concluding her working career at Wal-Mart, working in the office.
Ms. Nanette is preceded in death by her parents Foster and Enna Mae Gibson; her husband, Charles Henry Watts; sisters, Bessie Mae (Pat) Patterson, Elma (Bob) Hawkins, and Beatrice (Glen) Owen; and a brother Milton (Ferristine) Gibson. She is survived by a daughter, Nan (Hugh) Tompkins of Montgomery; grandchildren, Nate (Caroline) Tompkins of Montgomery and Charlotte Tomkins of Oakland, CA; and a sister, Virginia Turner of Hermanville, MS.
